Allowed us to tweak the plans slightly and came up with the solutions to achieve our aims while the build was progressing. We had two separate lots of work done by Springate Builders, a garage rebuild/extension in Nov 23, then an extension in May 24 which involved moving the bathroom. Billy & the team were great! We had documentation detailing each step of the process and the payment plan at the outset, and they arrived on time/date and even brought their own portaloo! They kept us informed every step of the way as to what was happening, and made sure we were consulted over the finer details such as placement of sockets and lights. They quickly resolved a small issue for us at no extra cost. A roof lantern & bifold doors were suggested for the extension, and I am so glad we went with that decision, as it is a vast improvement on what we had originally planned. They immediately addressed any worries or queries we had, and sorted out the structural engineer part of it, as well as keeping us informed about deliveries so we coukd move our cars off the driveway! They have also recommended other tradespeople such as a decorator. This made the whole process very smooth & trouble free, and I would certainly recommend Springate Builders. Dan, Billy and Louis have been amazing. Right from the off we felt we could trust them. They were courteous and polite, answering all questions and regularly checking that we were happy. They were happy to make changes. They set a clear payment plan at the start and (more importantly) stuck to it. Anything extra was explained and we never felt pressured into decisions. You can tell they take real pride in their work. They have been lovely with our 4 young kids, making them feel part of the build.
